Lower Back Pain Symptoms May Be Treated at Laser Spine Institute

Lower Back Pain Symptoms May Be Treated at Laser Spine Institute

Lower back pain symptoms are commonly experienced by most people at some point in their lives. That’s because the lower back bears much of the body’s weight and is also the site of much of the body’s bending and twisting. Those factors lead to injury and wear and tear more quickly in the lumbar region than in other areas of the spine. The result can be symptoms that include numbness, tingling, burning, swelling and stiffness. Fortunately, for many sufferers, after a few days or weeks the body heals the cause of the pain and the symptoms disappear. For some, however, the lower back pain continues.

A number of conditions can cause this type of discomfort, including:

  • Pinched nerve
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Stenosis
  • Bulging disc
  • Osteoarthritis
  • More

If you suffer with any of these conditions, your back pain may continue and even worsen. Your doctor will suggest treatment with a range of non-invasive methods, including over-the-counter medicines, elimination of certain activities, physical therapy and more. If those don’t work, you may want to consider treatment at Laser Spine Institute (LSI). We treat a wide range of conditions that cause lumbar pain using endoscopic techniques. That means we make only a tiny incision in the back, and we use a narrow tube to access the cause of your back pain. Small tools are fed through the tube to treat the condition, and after only about an hour, the tools and tube are removed. Because we work so delicately, there is a minimal amount of tissue damage caused. This leads to a quicker recovery time and a smaller risk of complications.

If you’d like more information on treating your lower back pain symptoms at LSI, contact us today. We will take a look at your CT scan or MRI for free to determine if we can help you.
